A latest study has found that women are more attracted to men who eat garlic because the smell of their sweat is appealing.

In a post by BBC Radio 5 live, scientists believe that women have evolved and prefer garlic eaters because the vegetable has "antiviral and antifungal properties, and this comes through in a man's perspiration, suggesting that the man is healthy."

Speaking to the online radio station, the managing director of the Garlic Farm, Natasha Edwards, says she's not surprised by her findings adding that this was good news for every garlic-eating lover out there.

"People often ask us, if you eat loads of garlic will people want to sit next to you? Will I have terrible breath? There is some evidence to say that the more garlic you eat, the better your body can deal with it, " she told BBC Radio 5 live.
