Google has removed Android ad blocking app Adblock Fast from its Play Store, following its climb to the top of the rankings.
The plug-in from Rocketship Apps worked within Samsung’s mobile browser, with the two companies partnering on the project, reported The Verge.
Google told Rocketship it violated section 4.4 of of its Developer Distribution Agreement, with the app “interfering or disrupting devices, networks, or services of third parties”.
The Verge reported that since the removal of Adblock Fast, two other Android ad blocking plug-ins have popped up: Crystal and Adblock Plus.
