President Cyril Ramaphosa has been spotted sleeping at the funeral of the late ANC chieftain, Jesse Duarte. Jesse Duarte was the Deputy Secretary General of the ANC, who acted briefly as Acting Secretary General after the suspension of Ace Magashule.

However, she fell ill shortly after that, making Paul Mashatile take over the role of Acting Secretary General. This is not the first time President Cyril Ramaphosa will be falling asleep at funerals and public functions. 

Most social media users and even journalists used to post pictures of the president sleeping at social functions, even outside the country. At international summits, he also sleeps. He recently came under fire and intense criticism when he was televised and photographed sleeping at the funeral of the victim's Enyobeni Tavern Tragedy. People attacked him, saying he went there to sleep and not mourn. Now, this will also attract criticism to the embattled president.
