Rowlene has released the music video for her single, Danger, which is part of her SAMA-nominated album, 11:11.

Rowlene took to Instagram on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, to confirm the release of her first music video of the year. The music video is for Danger, the runaway hit single from her South African Music Awards (SAMA)-nominated album, 11:11, under the Best Pop Album. Therefore, the release of the visuals continues the promotional efforts by the pop vocalist.

Directed by VISUALBYDADDYQUE, the music video is anchored by its 90s theme, with references to pop culture cult, Clueless. In a shared promotional statement, co-creative director, Rowlene stated, “Shooting this video was an absolute blast – made even better by the fact that I got to shoot it with some of my best friends! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Moreover, the statement further notesd, “The project shows just how relatable the 11:11 album is to all women and this has been Rowlene’s dream – to share music that expresses her feelings and helps others to understand and express their own; even with an upbeat song, she manages to do just that by showing us that taking a walk on the wild side is sometimes just what a girl needs.”
