If you want to see a strong female lead teach the hero of the story a thing or two, then Wanted it is. This is the movie for you as it follows Wesley Gibson, played by James McAvoy. His character starts as a simple account manager whose life turns upside down when he meets a gorgeous woman.

A woman who is not only a super-assassin by also play by the stunning Angelina Jolie. Known as Fox, she introduces him to a secret society of assassins. A society that Gibson’s father was a part of. This is the movie if you want to have action and adventure mixed with the badass character of Jolie.

Mad Max: Fury Road came out in 2015 and took us all by storm. This movie is the perfect portrayal of women’s revenge on a world that’s done them wrong. The action film follows Charlize Theron who is called the Imperator Furiosa.

She leads a group of female prisoners who wish to take down a tyrannical ruler. The movie also revolves around their search for their homeland. The movie also features other talented actors including Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult.
