For many years, the International ARTS Talent Showcase (IATS) has been ma
turning dreams into reality for South Africans seeking a career in the arts by providing them with a stage to showcase their talent for international talent scout Kim Myers. Next year, they will take it one step further.
Regional director for the ARTS, Elsubie Verlinden, has invited Rhavynn Drummer – casting director for Tyler Perry Studios – to attend the IATS in October 2017, where a selected group of actors will get to perform for the international casting agent.

Rhavynn has always had a love for actors and great performances and has worked in casting for the past 6 years.
She graduated in 2007 from the University of Virginia with a double major in Theater and American Studies, has had the privilege of working on Tyler Perry projects like “The Family that Preys,” “Why did I Get Married Too?” “The Marriage Counselor” and the television series “House of Payne” and “Meet the Browns” and the most recent series’ “The Haves and The Have Nots” and “Love Thy Neighbor” on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

But before you can perform for Rhavynn, actors will need to audition for Elsubie Verlinden – regional director for the ARTS.

Elsubie Verlinden, Founder of Just You Model and Artist Management, in her crusade to open doors for young South African hopefuls to achieve more, teamed up with Kim Meyers to host the South African leg of the showcase, The International ARTS Talent Showcase. In her capacity as Regional Director for ARTS in Africa, she has provided countless young South Africans exposure to top educational outlets in the USA.

Each year she travels from city to city throughout South Africa to scout the best talent the country has to offer to attend the International ARTS Talent Showcase.
