A VIDEO has gained popularity on social media.
This video shows two suspects escaping out of a cop van in Pine Town, Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal.
The video that residents filmed shows the two suspects squeezing themselves out the bottom of a bent cop van door.
The pair were arrested in Pine Town on Thursday for possession of a dangerous weapon.
According to EWN, Spokesman Thulani Zwane says they believe the residents helped the suspects in the escape,
He says, "They also discouraged members of the community instead of assisting by alerting members of the police but they were laughing - that means they say the crime being committed but they didn't report it to the police."
