In an effort to develop artistic talent in Zimbabwe, Zimabwe Talent Village chairman Newman Chiyadzwa said the Mabvuku Talent Village was designed to make a positive contribution to Zimbabwe’s arts and culture by identifying nurturing and developing artists in all spheres.
“By coming up with this village we are trying to develop different talents in Zimbabwe, be it music, stone work, painting among other art disciplines that promote our culture,” he said
The village will be one of many new arts centres in Zimbabwe including Chitungwiza Arts Centre, Hatfield Stone Village, Shona Sculptor gallery
