The three new faces will be working alongside DJ Speedsta and Lalla Hirayama.
Nomuzi Mabena is no stranger to the world of presenting having been a VJ before.
Hailing from Benoni, she’s always believed that she was born to be in the entertainment industry. Alongside presenting she’s also a hip hop artist.
Asked what she will bring to the table, she responded, “I feel like I have been in the entertainment industry for a long time, I have done so many things and cemented myself, so my diversity is what I’ll offer. I will also provide a trendy fashion element.”
Another person who is all too familiar with the hip hop industry, is Dash, who rose to prominence in 2013 when Dreamteam made headlines after winning a South African Hip Hop Award when their hit single Tsekede blew up the charts.
Dubbed the ‘ladies’ man’ of the group, Dash has never shied away from the spotlight.
Asked how he feels about being named one of the new faces for VUZU AMP, he responded “The brand is so young and fresh, it is connected with the culture and youth of South Africa, so being part of it is such a great opportunity. I feel that I will be bringing myself to the table, viewers will just have to wait and see because I am so unpredictable, just like I am with my music.”
Dash who hails from Durban adds that he will also show that ‘Durban flavour’.
No stranger to VUZU AMP, Shane Eagle was one of the viewers’ favourites when he made it to the top four of The Hustle.
Shane has gone on to produce a hit songWay Up, which features the winner of the first season, BigStar Johnson. Besides being a favourite with hip hop heads, Shane Eagle has also proved a natural on the screen.
Meanwhile Denise Zimba and Shelton Forbes will be leaving V-Entertainment to pursue other interests but they remain firmly part of the VUZU AMP family.
