How many people use Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram every day

Facebook had 1.59 billion total monthly active users towards the end of 2015, with 1.04 billion people using Facebook every day.


According to a report by Engadget, Facebook racked up 1.44 billion of those monthly users via mobile in the last quarter of 2015 – with 934 million mobile users visiting the site daily.


The strong user figures have contributed to a 44% increase in annual revenue for 2015 when compared to the year before – with Mark Zuckerberg’s company generating $17.93 billion (R293 billion).


Monthly user numbers for WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram were also disclosed, with the services attracting 900 million, 800 million, and 400 million user respectively.
