British royal prince Harry has conferred the Queen's 'Companions of Honour' on Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu for his commitment to International Peace and Reconcilliation. Prince Harry who is in Cape Town as part of a four-day tour of South Africa, met with the 83yr old anti-apartheid icon today at his foundation's offices, where he presented the oval-shaped medallion to him.

Tutu on his part thanke the prince for his commitment to the fight against AIDS. The Archbishop now joins the list of other recipients such as David Attenborough, Stephen Hawking and Harold Pinter.
