Apple’s Safari browser is broken: report on iOS and OS X users

iOS and OS X users around the world are experiencing issues with Apple’s Safari, according to a report by Engadget.

The report stated that users have reported browser crashes after typing into Safari’s search box.

The bug was highlighted by developer Steve Troughton-Smith, who said it has something to do with Apple’s search suggestions feature.

Engadget said there is a temporary fix: turn off Safari Suggestions in the Settings menu.

Apple had not commented on the issue at the time of publication.
