The family of the late rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes has revealed that the late artist's final album, titled "Mass Country," will still be made available to the public later this month as he had intended before his untimely death. On Friday, February 10, the victim, who was 35 years old and lived on Florida Road in Durban, KZN, was shot and killed.
  


"The family has not stopped remembering and honouring their son since his passing. AKA had expressed excitement about his upcoming project across all his social media platforms. In addition, his family reassured his followers that they would publish it on Thursday, February 16th.

According to the statement released by the family, "to properly honour his legacy, they have decided to proceed with the release of the Mass Country album on February 24, originally scheduled."

We devoted a lot of time and effort to planning this roll-out and producing all of the content that we have been doing so under his direction. Nhlanhla "Nivo" Ndimande, the manager of AKA and a co-executive producer, stated that "the team was extremely blessed to work closely on this project with Kiernan." The managing director of Sony Music Entertainment Africa, Sean Watson, stated that they had lost one of the most incredible people they had ever worked closely with. In addition, he communicated his condolences to his family, friends, and the people who loved him.
Mass Country album 

A memorial service honouring AKA is ongoing at the Sandton Convention Centre. On Saturday, he will be laid to rest in a public funeral held at the provincial level.
