However, the struggle against the deadly virus being Covid-19 continues with more and more testing positive in the entertainment industry while vaccines are continuing to be rolled out. It seems as if the battle against the deadly virus is still far from being over.

Millicent Makhado is a South African actress known for appearing on SABC 1's show, Makoti and on Muvhango that airs on SABC 2. Millicent on Muvhango played the character of Agnes, who was a young Khadzi of a royal family and was the daughter of Mara Louw. She played the character of being a wife to a pastor on Makoti and did not have it easy being married due to their house responsibilities depending on her as her husband was not working and served as a pastor. Makhado is the latest in the entertainment industry who tested positive and is currently battling against the virus.



Makhado came out recently and announced that she tested positive for the deadly virus being Covid-19 and asked for the public including her fans to put her in prayers.

"Morning everyone, I need your prayers. In Covid 43 days ago, I tested positive for Covid-19. Today, I finally went for the Covid vaccine. Ndo tshuwesa", Millicent_Makhado on Twitter said.

Millicent Makhado who was once in an abusive marriage joins many celebrities who tested positive, had to battle against the deadly virus whereby some of them even lost the battle and lost their lives. Celebrities such as Manaka Ranaka, Thembisa Nxumalo and Zwai Bala together with his family also tested positive and had to be away from their loved ones while battling against the virus.



Other celebrities such as Shona Ferguson, Tshepo Tshola and many more, unfortunately, lost the battle which came with looking their lives leaving their loved ones behind.
