DJ Speedsta took to Twitter on Tuesday, 10 August 2021, to launch a character assault on Cassper Nyovest. The two have had an antagonistic relationship since as early as Speedsta’s POPcast days. However, the hip-hop DJ reportedly stated that they made amends. Now, it seems that due to a recent event, that has all changed.

Speedsta first tweeted, “I’m sorry I need to let something off my chest. Take it as you want. Cassper Nyovest is weak! No soul, no nothing. Tag him if you want. Let him know Lesego thinks zero of him, and Lesego knows him for a long time. You’re weak Refiloe!” Speedsta went on to add, “And to you people that always talk nonsense behind a screen. Year after year, Cassper is always in some “news.” Always the victim. Always putting out good energy & doesn’t understand why people “hate his success”. I’m personally done with his nonsense. Know the man…”

In his subsequent tweet, Speedsta seems to be referencing the new television deal that features Cassper as the host of season two of The Braai Show. It seems that Nyovest might have slighted people to get the deal, considering that it was Nyovest’s latest big announcement.
