Benny Afroe has released the lead single off his upcoming EP, Yours Truly, which is the sampled track titled Nguwe.

Benny Afroe took to Instagram on Friday, 9 July 2021, to confirm the availability of his new single, Nguwe. The single marks the availability of his eight-track EP, Yours Truly, for pre-order. Ahead of the release of the single, on Tuesday, 6 July 2021, the musician took to Instagram to post his album cover.
He captioned the post, “My project Yours Truly is dropping on July 30th (Friday). Put my heart and soul into this one. The first single Nguwe from the project drops this Friday, July 9th. This is without doubt the best music I’ve ever made.”
Nguwe is a two-part single which starts the album with the Nguwe (Intro). The single, as a first release from the album, is a clever choice by Afroe. This is as it induces a sense of nostalgia, as the song samples the kwaito classic by Zola 7, Sana Lwami, featuring Unathi. However, the musician managed to put his mark on it with the synthesised instrumentation and addition of auto-tune to his voice.
