The Manhattans, Regina Belle & Gerald Alston to perform in SA

A new music series called The Legends of R&B is coming to South Africa, Johannesburg and Cape Town to be exact. The series features American greats like, The Manhattans with Gerald Alston and Regina Belle.
Big Concerts confirmed that The Manhattans with Gerald Alston and Regina Belle will perform in Johannesburg at Teatro, Montecasino on 21, 22 and 23 July they will then go at Cape Town’s Grand Arena on 24 July.

If you are too young to know these artists, here is a bit of information about them.
“Regina Belle is an American Singer–songwriter and actress who first started her career in the mid–1980s. Known for her singles, “Baby Come to Me” (1989) and “Make It Like It Was” (1990), Belle’s most notable for her Grammy award winning duet with Peabo Bryson, “A Whole New World” for Disney’s 1992 animated feature film Aladdin.”
“The Manhattans are an American popular R&B vocal group. Their work includes million-selling songs “Kiss and Say Goodbye” recorded in 1976 and 1980’s “Shining Star”.The Manhattans have recorded twelve top 10 R&B hits in the United States charting on the Billboard chart for the first time in 1965.  Their 1983 song “Forever By Your Side” remains especially popular in Brazil thirty years after its release.”
