Sketchy Bongo just made the biggest and most exciting announcement — he’s signed to Ultra Music and Sony Music in America!
The 26-year-old Kwa-Zulu Natal music producer’s single “Let You Know”, featuring vocalist Shekhinah, will be the first of his singles distributed and released worldwide.
“I’m really happy to be signed to Ultra-music and Sony with two of the biggest dance labels and pop labels in the world. I’ve been wanting something like this for a very long time so we worked hard, I’m just happy to be getting South African music out there to the world” Sketchy Bongo told SABC.
Sketchy Bongo is also the only producer in South Africa to have his own feature on MTV Base, which playlisted all tracks produced by him.
FYI: Sketchy Bongo’s real name is Yuvir Pillay.
