A lion was seen roaming the busy streets of Braam (Braamfontein) in South Africa on Monday night

When foreign tourists ask you if lions roam the streets in South Africa, don't laugh. Because they DO. And not only when they win the Currie Cup. 

Images have emerged of a maned king of the bushveld, roaming a jungle of a different kind - the concrete jungle. 

One image even shows the lion mounting a car parked in front of Nando's. If you don't believe us, here are the pics to prove it:

Just last month, a lion that had escaped a national park in Nairobi caused panic among residents of a populated Pipeline estate (Watch the video). The lion was however captured and returned to the park. A few days later, another Lion known as Mohawk escaped the same park but was shot by game rangers after attacking a human
