AFCON for Ghana
Ghana has gone out of Afcon at the group stages for the first time since 2006.

Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign came to a humiliating end as they were beaten 3-2 by debutants Comoros to finish bottom of Group C with just a single point.

El Fardou Ben Mohamed saw the back of the net first during the encounter. Their second goal was scored after 60 minutes into the game by Ahmed Mogni.

Ghana tried to balance the game by netting two goals to make it equal. Richmond Boakye and Alexander Djiku levelled the game up for Ghana. Unfortunately, Mogni came through with five minutes remaining for the game to end and score a winner.

On the other hand, South African football lovers were happy that they were out. This follows after Bafana Bafana was kicked out in the qualifying matches by Ghana. However, the referee was found guilty of match-fixing. Unfortunately, Mzansi did not win even though they wrote letters to SAFA and FIFA.

"Such a waste, South Africa would have played much better. I'm from Ghana,Lagos anyway," wrote a user.
