Maskandi Artists and rappers would forget about the microphone and studio for a 90 minutes as they would be facing each other on a soccer match that will be held at Mboleko Sports Complex. The match would take place on Tuesday at 6pm.

Rapper Siyabonga 'Big Zulu' Nene and Khuzqni 'Indlamlamenze' Mpungose are the two promoters of this event called Maskandi VS Hip Hop Football Match. Big Zulu said they have decided to organise this match for artists to challenge each other on a football field.

'I will arrive with my team tomorrow (today) and Khuzani will also come with his team A'ykhale'. Stated Big Zulu who have recently won Best Collaboration award for his song titled Imali Eningi at the Sama awards competition.

On other recent news, Big Zulu and maskandi artist Mthandeni Manqele have not being seeing eye to eye with each other. The reason for their dispute is being a brand ambassadors and terms.

Khuzani mentioned that all artists who would be representing these two teams will be revealed today.

'We would reveal four maskandi artists and 4 Hip Hop artists tomorrow (today) at 5pm in the afternoon, therefore you should wait for it.' Stated Khuzani who broke records last year when he won on the crossover song of the year competition with 900 000 votes.

Khuzani then told fans of these genres of music to start guessing which artists might represent the teams.

'Excitement has already started, Big Zulu and i are in. The big question is that who are the six artists that will be joining us.' Stated Khuzani

These two artists seem to be close to each other these days as they are also ambassadors for many brands. Khuzani from Nkandla is a brand ambassador for Jonathan D and Big Zulu from Bergville is a brand ambassador of Brentwood.
