The South African government have been contemplating taking away guns from people, they want to make sure that the country is a gun-free country where people don't kill each other every now and then using guns. There are so many guns out there and most of them are in the wrong hands, they are used to commit various crimes and murder.

A young beautiful aspiring businesswoman from the KwaZulu-Natal was reportedly gunned down in Newcastle a few days ago.

According to Keep The Energy, the businesswoman was shot dead outside her business complex, reports also suggest that the South African Police Services have managed to track down the killer and apprehended him.

"Cindy Mnguni, a business owner from Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, was shot dead outside her complex this past week. Her murderer has been arrested and his bail hearing has been postponed to the 23rd of August," the publication reports.

This is definitely another case of gender-based violence where women and children no longer feel safe in the societies they live in, they are always watching over their shoulders to see if they are being followed,, they don't know who to trust anymore since sometimes they get victimised or killed by the very same people who are supposed to protect them.

The South African government led by the African National Congress seems to be failing to come up with the answer on how to deal with these cases, a woman is murdered almost every hour in this country.

President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa has promised that the criminal justice system will come down harsh to all those who will be found guilty of these crimes, he said they should face the full might of the law, they should be given sentenced that are fit for the horrendous crimes they commit to quote his words.
