Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo has revealed that she will be hosting and form part of the judging panel of the upcoming reality show, Mzansi Magic’s Madiba Do Up.

Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo took to Twitter on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, to reveal her next presenting role. The media personality is set to front yet another Mzansi Magic production, with the upcoming first season of Madiba Do Up. The show is imagined as a hybrid of a corporate social initiative (CSI) campaign and an inspirational pay-it-forward reality show.

Sponsored by the MultiChoice group, Madiba Do Up will feature four different disadvantaged schools, which will compete to win a complete makeover. The schools will need to come up with a performance, poem or song which embodies the spirit and life of former president, Nelson Mandela.

The show will feature a star-studded judging panel, including Nomzamo Mbatha, Clement Maosa and Motlatsi Mafatshe. The show is set to premiere on Mzansi Magic on Thursday, 1 July 2021, DStv channel 161, at 21:30.
