Mzansi Magic’s Gomora

Mzansi Magic took to Twitter on Wednesday, 14 July 2021, to, once again, bid goodbye to original Gomora character, Buhle Ndaba. The character is portrayed by the Netflix original Blood & Water lead actress, Ama Qamata. Her character returned to the world of the story in light of the passing of her brother, Langa Ndaba, as actor, Siyabonga Xaba left the telenovela to explore his directorial ambitions.

While fans did know that Qamata’s long-awaited return to the world of Gomora would be brief, it seems that many had hoped that it would extend further than the three weeks which she has been on screen. This is as her return never actually featured Buhle realising a full storyline. The only storyline teased was the relationship between Buhle and Ntokozo, who is played by Ntobeko Sishi.

Moreover, no formal word from the production or channel has been shared yet on whether the star will be making a return to the world of the story anytime soon. However, on Tuesday, 6 July 2021, fellow actress, Siyasanga Papu shared a post on her Instagram of her on set, which revealed that Qamata might be returning to the telenovela sooner than expected.
