Moja Love has confirmed the airing of its new reality show, Ostufuza, which focuses on four plus-size influencers and their lives.

Ostufuza
Moja Love took to Twitter on Friday, 23 July 2021, to tease the imminent premiere of a new reality show, Ostufuza. As suggested by the title of the show, which is a colloquial term referring to someone who is bigger than the average size, the show is set to document the lives of four plus-size female influencers.

Leading the cast is founder of Plus Size Black Diamonds, Neo “Nene” Maboya. Additional cast members include Maneo Magoleng, Katlego Kgoroeadira and Connie Constance. According to the official preview, the show aims to celebrate plus-size body images which are not represented enough in mainstream media. This is as the women embrace their voluptuous body types, rather than the show focusing on the features attempting to lose weight.

The show continues the narrative on body positivity and inclusion in mainstream television. The first episode aired on Saturday, 24 July 2021. The show airs on Saturdays on Moja Love, DStv channel 157, at 17:00.
