Makhadzi and King Monada’s song dispute continues, as King Monada released his version of the single, replacing Makhadzi with fellow Limpopo musician, Mukosi.

Makhadzi and King Monada

Makhadzi took to Twitter on Thursday, 8 July 2021, to provide another retelling of the animosity between her and King Monada. This was after she faced backlash for reportedly snubbing King Monada from Ghanama, featuring Prince Benza. King Monada was reportedly supposed to receive a collaboration title, but he was snubbed.

After Makhadzi released her version of the single, King Monada responded by releasing his version of the single. However, on his version, he featured somebody who is described as Makhadzi’s rival in Limpopo, Mukosi, with a different beat than the one produced by Prince Benza. Thereafter, earlier suggestions of the animosity between the two being a PR stunt were rubbished.

Makhadzi has confirmed the matter, releasing a statement claiming that the first dispute of accreditation was reached. Moreover, she claimed that alleging that the rivalry was a PR stunt was her attempt at mending her relationship with King Monada, as she believed that they had reached an amicable agreement. However, after King Monada allegedly gave her the run around with mixing and mastering of the song, Makhadzi decided to release her own version, and was reportedly surprised, along with the public, when King Monada released his own version .
