e.tv has announced the casting of Jeffrey Sekele as an additional cast member in the upcoming new soapie on the channel, House of Zwide.
e.tv took to Twitter on Tuesday, 13 July 2021, to announce the additional casting of seasoned actor, Jeffrey Sekele as Isaac Molapo on House of Zwide. The character has been described as the antagonist set to reveal the cracks in the marriage between Vusi Kunene’s character, Funani Zwide, and his wife, Winnie Ntshaba’s character, Faith Zwide.
A supporting statement further detailed the world of House of Zwide, stating, “Things get even more complicated when the secret that Faith and Isaac were involved in her mother’s death starts coming to the surface.” Adding, “And adding more fuel to the fire is the revelation that Funani’s children with Faith aren’t actually his, and for years Faith has been having an affair with the man she’s led everyone to believe is her brother.”
House of Zwide is set to air its first episode on Monday, 19 July 2021, on e.tv at 19:00. The soapie replaces Rhythm City, which is set to conclude on Friday, 16 July 2021.
