Luis takes charge as the bank’s new CEO. Camila is willing to tell the judge the whole truth, but Mariana warns her that then she will end up in prison for perjury.

Counselor Ordoñez informs Carlos that Paquito is legally his son. Fernanda gets locked up in the solitary.

Mariana tells Fernando that she’s going to send him to a retirement home. Fernanda’s violin disappears and everybody thinks that Malquerida took it.

Pedro manages to get Fernando out of the retirement home. Fernando and Amelia meet again. Fernanda is pregnant.

Fernanda gives birth to her son. Fernanda names her son Pedro Fernando, and sobs when she has to say goodbye to him when Pedro takes him away. Mariana has Amelia arrested for kidnapping Fernando.

Fernanda is released from prison, and even though she is sad because her fellow inmates remain imprisoned, she is happy because she will now be able to be with her son and carry on with her life.

Carlos performs surgery on Little Pedro but Fernanda does not tell him he is his son. Pedro tells Fernanda Amelia is truly a changed woman.

Fernanda tells Pedro that she won’t marry without love. Fernanda is sure that Carlos would be happy to know that Pedrito is his son.

Maribel is set free. Fernanda says that she won’t tell Carlos that Pedrito is his son because Carlos cheated on her.

Amelia and Fernanda say good bye to Fernando on his deathbed. Luis is discharged and he immediately goes looking for Fernanda. Solorzano hires some thugs to attack Ordoñez.

Fernanda tells Carlos that she’s very sad for her grandfather’s death and Carlos advises her to go to Fernando’s will reading. Luis goes to ask Marissa for forgiveness.

Camila is sorry for what she has done with her life. Carlos is not sure of winning the trial. Ordoñez defends Leopoldo.
