The Joe Slovo community is standing behind a 38-year-old man who flung his child off the roof of his home.The man appeared in the New Brighton magistrate's court on a case of child abuse.The man was trying to stop police from demolishing his shack by ‘protesting’ with his six-month-old baby in his hands. A man threw his own child from the roof of his shack after attempts by police hostage negotiators to resolve an issue failed.
The indecent took place on Thursday at Joe Slovo informal settlement in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Fortunately, the child was caught by police and is unharmed.
According to The Herald, the man has been arrested for throwing a child from the roof of a shack and has been arrested. He now faces a charge of attempted murder.
