It seems to be a trend for our local celebs to lash out their frustrations at the “industry” whilst mourning one of their own. The latest celeb to bash the industry is Muvhango actress Cynthia Shange. ‘I’ve Been On Muvhango For 18 Years And I Have Never Been Permanent,’ says Cynthia Shange.

Whilst speaking at Joe Mafela’s memorial, Cynthia spoke about how unfair the industry can be, even after one has dedicated their whole lives to it ending up dying without much.

“When one of us die, it’s not like we don’t like we don’t know how to save, it’s that we don’t have the money. This is our passion. We do it because we love it. But we are not happy,” she told the mourners.

Shange expressed her frustrations with artists not being able to get loan. “We can’t get a loan. We are not happy.”
