Gemini Major who is responsible for the hip hop songs, Ragga Ragga and Lifestyle alongside the likes of Da Les Nadia Nakai, Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick has recently announced that he's leaving Family Tree.

In a recent press release, the dreadlocked rapper expressed his gratitude to Family Tree but explained that he feels that it's time he spreads his wings.

"It has been a great journey with special memories made and I'm thankful of all the opportunities, but now it's time to focus on other things and grow as an artist and brand," Gemini

Within a space of a month, Gemini Major is the fifth artist we know who has left their label after the likes of Fifi Cooper, A-Reece and duo rap group BenchMarq left Family Tree.

Gemini Major also added that he's excited for the future and what it holds.

"The future is full of possibilities and I charge ahead with so much optimism and positive vibes. It's a matter of time before Rudebouy Major becomes a force to be reckoned with in the local music space. Watch out for us and all the new artists and collaborations we will unleash in the not so distant future."

The Family Tree camp is yet to comment on the departure of the artist.

Only established in 2014, the independent record label has garnered a lot of success with its CEO, Cassper Nyovest leading the forefront.
