A fake news article has come out today claiming that South African Olympic runner, Caster Semenya has died in a US hospital on Friday morning while there to discuss a possible endorsement with technology giant, Apple.

According to the report, Caster's wife, Violet Raseboya told a television channel in America that Caster had died in a California Hospital at Palo Alto.

It went on to falsely quote Raseboya as saying “she was fine but complained of minor chest pains a day before our coming. It wasn’t something we had to worry about”.

Meanwhile, Caster has been tweeting inspirational messages about trust and letting things go.
Yesterday, she uploaded a post saying “don’t trust what you see, even salt looks like sugar’.
While today she uploaded an image saying “When people hurt you over and over, think of them as sandpaper. They scratch and hurt you. But later, you’ll be shining and polished while they end up useless”.
