When he appeared on Mzansi Magic hit reality show Date My Family, Mduduzi Nyoni trended. From his accent to his background, Mdu became one of the most talked about bachelors to be on the show.
Speaking DRUM in an exclusive interview Mdu reveals that the new found fame the show has made his life a bit tricky. “I can’t go to the garage, I can’t go to the Fourways Farmers’ Market as I usually do. I tried it last weekend and there was a stampede. Sometimes my clients will say, ‘Let’s meet up’, but I can’t do that anymore.”
Mdu opens up about how he had to deactivate his social media days after appearing on the show, saying people were threatening his kids.
“That hurt me,” he tells DRUM.
