CHAOS erupted at Loftus Versfeld stadium on Saturday in an Absa Premiership match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
The match was forced to be temporarily suspended after pitch invasion.
The turmoil started after Pirates conceded the sixth goal of the match with 8 minutes left before stoppage time.
 Police were forced to get in the pitch to restore order.
Police fired stun grenades to disperse fans at the stadium as fans were running out of the ground while others were chanting in the stands.
Percy Tau and Thapelo Morena scored a brace while Themba Zwane broke the ice in the 20thminutes and Ricardo Nascimento converted a penalty before being substituted.
Sundowns have now closed the gap to three points behind the log leaders SuperSport United, who have 28 points after 15 games.
