Cassper Nyovest has blown his own horn, and shaded his rivals in the process, by claiming that he is the number one rapper on the continent.

Cassper, who visited America in June last year to perform on popular radio show Sway in the Morning, told Slikour that he was the biggest artist in Africa.

“Go to America now and ask them about African hip-hop and there is one name that will always pop up and that’s because of the things we have done here, the Dome, Orlando, all that stuff,” he said.

The rapper said that he was now focused on growing his craft locally.

“I am doing it all from here. My strategy has changed. It is better to do it from home. I am the biggest hip-hop act on the continent so why not practice on the continent? They know me in Africa,” he added.

He also claimed that his Fill Up Orlando Stadium gig late last year was much bigger than any hip-hop show at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. In fact the rapper believed that that it “might be the biggest hip-hop concert of all time”.

“Now we have to do FNB (Stadium) some time. I’m in such a good space,” Cassper added.
