She took a two-year break from the small screens but now former Scandal actress, Gabisile Tshabalala, is back co-hosting Throwback Thursday, a talk show on SABC1.
The first episode premiered last week, and she co-hosts the show with comedian Skhumba Hlophe.
Talking about her short break, Gabisile says she wanted to focus on being a new mom after leaving Scandal in 2015.
“Motherhood is amazing. My daughter (Sanchia) has taught me so much. She has made me stop being selfish. She’s taught me to share and just be happy.”
In the two-year hiatus, Gabi also got hitched to the father of her 17 months old baby.
“I also got married traditionally. My man is a very private person; I can’t even say his name. He’s not in the entertainment industry and we are very happy,” Gabi adds.
Having put all formalities aside and officially married, Gabi says they still need to have the white wedding.
“I want a wedding either on the beach or somewhere with many trees,” Gabi says.
Having being off screen, Gabi says being back will bring a new dimension to her relationship as she now needs to strike a balance being a new mom, wife and an entertainer.
