After parting ways with Tshedi Mholo from their afro-pop group Malaika, Bongani Nchang went through some personal difficulties that he said he needed to go through in order to arrive at the spiritual place that he is in at the moment.
Now married to wife Dinolani, Bongani said the release of his Gospel album, “Wonders of Mercy” has brought him joy and fulfillment.
“I finally decided to heed the calling, after avoiding it for some time now. It has finally caught up with me, and I must say that this has brought about such a fulfillment inside of me and, my fans also agree with this welcome and life empowering direction for all.”
“The album recording was exciting, yet challenging because for the first time in my music career I was fully involved in every aspect of the project.”
Bonangi said his first single “Ke tshepile wena” is a crossover highlights the mood of the entire album.
