For months, Minnie’s love life has been making headlines. The popular TV personality has reportedly been dating a guy named Quinton Jones after she broke up with Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.
But there’s apparently another guy in the picture. According to Move! magazine’s sources, Minnie has been spotted being dropped off and picked up by SA’s youngest millionaire, Sandile Shezi.
The mag’s sources claim that Sandile has also been showering Minnie with expensive gifts, and Quinton is apparently not impressed.
However, Minnie has fiercely denied the claims. She told the mag that the allegations are “beyond ridiculous” and “unfair.”
Meanwhile, Minnie Dlamini has revealed how she was too scared to break up with Itu Khune because of what people would say. Talking to Jacaranda FM, Minnie said her relationship with Itu fell apart near the end, but she felt like the pair chose to stick it out because of the pressure and embarrassment they would have felt if they had broke up.
“We just couldn’t make it work, instead of being in a relationship and if it’s not working just being like, ‘Eish. It’s not working’ Because there’s just a lot of pressure and everyone feels like they have an opinion” Minnie says she now looks for relationships with people who are not famous or even in the industry.“I think it’s the way to go and I’d even prefer it if it was someone who’s not in my industry. Sometimes you just want normalcy.”
However, there were reports that Minnie and the Quinton were reportedly seeing each other behind Itumeleng Khune’s back under the pretense that they were friends while Itumeleng Khune and Bonang Matheba were allegedly dating behind Minnie’s back.
As the couple was allegedly taking turns to cheat on each other, they failed to manage their relationship and the two eventually broke up last year.
