SOLLY MOHOLO, the legendary gospel singer, has had enough.
He is smashing any belief that he is associated with an offensive and crude song doing the rounds on social media.
KE BATLA KUKU IS DEFINITELY NOT MY SONG! HE SAID.
Moholo, one of the most famous gospel singers in South Africa, has been caught in the crossfire as people are given the impression the vulgar song is sung by him.cel
NEW Tshwane mayor Solly Msimanga has put an end to parties.
In a statement released yesterday he said there will be no more lavish parties in Tshwane under his leadership.
This forms part of the cost-cutting measures under his administration. He said: “We are putting a stop to all catered inaugural parties and events for Tshwane’s new executive. Celebratory dinners and
lunches, which only benefit politicians, will be a thing of the past.
“In the past there were huge expenditures on politicians’ food and parties. This will no longer apply.”
Msimanga said under his leadership a lot will change.
“We must serve the people – not party with public funds. My focus now is to assess the massive issues we have inherited in Tshwane.
“There is no time for lavish dinners and lunches,” he said.
He said he is also suspending international political trips. All new international travel requests will be reviewed individually.
“A culture of taking pleasure trips to conferences all over the world will not be allowed,” he said.
