“STAY away from celebrities!
“Even though you’re having fun, people will treat you like a groupie!”
These were the words of a 23-year-old who claimed she was taken to the DStv iRock Limpopo Music Festival by Kwesta and his friends.
She claimed she was picked up at a restaurant in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
The girl claims she ended up at the Meropa Town Lodge Hotel in Polokwane on Saturday with no room to sleep in and no lift home.
The girl from Vosloorus told Daily Sun: “I admit I was drunk when I decided to go with them but there was nothing more embarrassing than what I went through in Polokwane.
“I found myself sleeping in a chair at the hotel while my cousin and friend were taken upstairs by those guys.”
According to sources, Kwesta and his crew allegedly made a lot of noise in their hotel room and security had to be called repeatedly to tell them to keep quiet.
The girl claimed after she was kicked out of the lobby by
hotel management, Kwesta’s crew allowed her to sleep in their car. However, this wasn’t the end of her terrible experience.
“They started shouting at me, saying they saw me talking to the media. I told them journalists were trying to help me and I ended up getting a lift home on the media bus.”
Kwesta’s phone was off yesterday and he couldn’t be reached for comment.
After speaking to his manager and road manager, the SunTeam was referred to Nota Baloyi.
Baloyi said: “Those girls were picked up by TLT, a group signed by Kwesta.
“They provided them with accommodation and transport and the girl herself decided to stay in the lobby. Kwesta doesn’t know these girls.
