Award-winning hip-hop sensation Nasty C left a nasty taste in the mouths of his fans when he failed to show up at the dust-raising Oppikoppi festival in Limpopo last weekend.

Nasty C, who recently joined Mabala Noise record label owned by tender tycoon and ANC Treasurer-General Reggie "Govenor" Nkabinde, was supposed to perform at the show on Saturday night at Northam.
Oppikoppi marketing and public relations manager Sharon Peché confirmed Nasty C marooned his fans at the annual festival.
"We announced on stage that he was not going to perform at the show and there was no chaos as people came there to enjoy other services the event offered ," she said.
She said they received information from his stable hours before his appearance that the revered emcee, who is arguably the best rapper in Mzansi, would not pitch up as he was under the weather and had a problem with his voice.
She said they would demand a refund from him.
His fans were angry with his failure to show up at the festival on Tuesday.
