The ANC have reclaimed the Laingsburg municipality in the Western Cape, after losing the region in 2011.
The ruling party won 46% of the vote to the DA's 43.88%.
The ANC also won Hessequa in the Western Cape earlier on Thursday.
100% of votes have been captured in both municipalities.
