TV personality Khanyi Mbau is taking legal action against a website which first published a report claiming that she had confessed to losing her virginity to the late Lucky Dube.

The legal document, which TMG Entertainment is in possession of, orders the website called Imzansi.co.za to issue a public apology to Khanyi by 23 May.
"Please be advised that legal action has been taken after we learned that you have engaged in making false, destructive, and defamatory statements on Miss Mbau with no evidence. These statements have been made directly through your website imzansi.co.za and through social media. You are hereby directed to cease and desist making any and all false and defamatory statements, which are injurious to her character and reputation," reads the notice.
The document went on to state that if the demands were not met, further action would be taken.
This comes just days after Khanyi was confronted by a report which hit social media networks claiming that she confessed to losing her virginity to Lucky Dube.
Speaking to TMG Entertainment at the time Khanyi could not contain her anger over the reports, labelling it a "smear campaign" against her.
"It came as a pain at first but mostly it was disgust in how there is a group of people hell bent on destroying my name and blowing my light out."
