IT’S easy come, easy go with Teko Modise’s millions. He spends a lot, but then he earns a lot.

And sometimes he ends up in a tight spot, with more cash going out than what’s coming in.

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder is a rich man – with a record of having his assets seized by the repo guys.

Sources close to the star alleged that the repo men collected Teko’s Jeep SRT8.

And this was barely two months after he helped his team to the MTN8 Cup and pocketed a very cool R8 million bonus!

Teko seems to be piling up the silverware with his team. But his off-the-field luck seems to have run out at the moment.

Last week, a source claimed: “Teko arrived late for a training session in a Golf. He explained to coach Pitso Mosimane that he was dealing with people who wanted their Jeep back.

“The coach was pissed off because he’d been advising players to think smart when tempted by nice things that cost them a lot of money.”

Teko might find himself in the money again, as his team is leading the race in the Absa Premier League Championship.

And then he’ll be back in the big spender league.

Last year, Teko’s luxury home at Willowbrook Estate, in Ruimsig, was up for auction, but with one day to go a mystery buyer saved the property for him.
Fans and friends are still wondering who the buyer was.

Two years ago, the repo man grabbed Teko’s BMW 125i Coupe because he fell behind with monthly payments.

During his peak, he was said to own several cars, including a BMW X6, M3, a Range Rover Sport and an Aston Martin.

At the time he had endorsement deals with McDonald’s, Coca-Cola and Samsung.

Teko couldn’t be reached for comment, but his agent, Jazzman Mahlakgane, denied his client’s big Jeep had been repossessed.

Jazzman told the People’s Paper: “No, man. Who told you that? Teko decided to sell the car because he wants to venture into the property business.”
