Johannesburg- Former queen of kwaito Mshoza didn’t have an easy start to life.
The kwaito star, who is no stranger to controversy, has made headlines on numerous occasions for bleaching her skin, and has faced accusations of being a gold-digger.
Last year Mshoza revealed during a tell-all interview that she would no longer be discussing her controversial private life in the media, and was determined to revive her fallen career.
Then this year she made her way back onto the front pages of newspapers, after it emerged that she will be undergoing cosmetic surgery similar to that of Michael Jackson. (Read more on that here)
Despite facing backlash from fans, Mshoza seems unfazed by the drama and has chosen to focus on her career instead.
Taking to social media Mshoza revealed that life in general hasn’t been an easy journey for her.
“Born 19…January 7 (Capricon) in the dusty streets of Soweto, raised by a single parent who sold beer for a living (dropped out of college because of financial constraints) buuuut…I never let my past determine my future,” she wrote.
