RESIDENTS heard the screams of two schoolgirls.
It’s believed they were being raped in the bush, but no one came to their rescue!
The two girls, aged 15 and 18, from Limpopo were attacked on Saturday afternoon on their way home from a study session.
The 18-year-old told Daily Sun: “My friend and I were walking home from a local primary school when two men approached us.
“They demanded we go to the bush so they could have sex with us.
“We refused but they wouldn’t take no for an answer.
“They started beating us. A person who was passing couldn’t do anything to help us. The men said they were our boyfriends. They dragged us into the bush and the beating got worse.”
The victim said they were raped in the bush and later taken to an RDP.
“When they took us to the house, we begged them to release us so we could go home,” said the victim.
“They refused and continued to rape us all night.”
Warrant Officer Sam Matsimbi said: “Both victims opened rape cases.
“Two suspects aged 18 and 20 were arrested and are due to appear in the Saselamani Regional Court soon.”
