Early hours of January 1st, in a cross over service held in Malawi, the prophet predicted that Mugabe will die by the 31st of December this year.
In an article reported by The NewsDayUK, Liabuya added that after Mugabe’s death, Zimbabwe will be “restored” to be one of the richest countries in Africa.
The Malawian Prophet has gained popularity and has built a name for himself over the past few years because of his accurate predictions of political events in Malawi. His followers say that he accurately prophesied former Malawian President Joyce Banda’s defeat in 2014.
However the controversial prophet predicted on the same night that Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema would become the new President of Zambia this year, which turned out to be untrue.
The prophet has no regret for his statement and sounds very confident in his prediction saying, “Mugabe will certainly die as proclaimed by this oracle of God, and I will be vindicated as God’s humble messenger.”.
