Water restrictions with effect 9 November 2015
Joburg Water implemented Level 2 water restrictions starting last night. The media release from the MMC: Environment and Infrastructure Services Department appeals to residents and businesses to refrain from the following:
1. No watering and irrigating gardens between 06:00 and 18:00.
2. No filling of swimming pools.
3. No using of hose pipes to wash cars, paved areas, etc.
In addition to this members of the public are urged to report any non-compliance of these restrictions to 011 688 1699 or [email protected].
Joburg Water urges all consumers to comply with the above to avoid level 3 restrictions.
