Some fans immediately recognised the Rolls as the very same one DJ Euphonik had posed with on his Instagram page.
Cassper, real name Refiloe Phoolo, posted the picture soon after his #Fillupthedome concert.
Cassper cannot entirely be blamed for the confusion created by fans about whether he or Euphonik owns the flashy R8,5-million car.
Sunday World can now clear up the confusion. The car belongs to Rolls Royce Motor Cars in Sandton.
Rolls Royce's brand manager Pedro Carneiro said: "It's my car and I don't hire it out."
When asked if he gave Cassper the car for marketing purposes he said: "I gave him to use the car as a brother."
Cassper's manager T-Lee Moiloa sets the record straight: "He was just sponsored for the concert and that's all I can say."
