#TheFrontRow: Dineo Ranaka replaces Bonang on Metro FM co-host Lerato Kganyago
Things keep getting interesting in the radio world on Monday afternoon, Bonang Matheba shocked many after announcing that she had left Metro FM. The resignation came as a surprise because she was on her show, The Front Row, in the morning, alongside her new co-host Lerato Kganyago.
But as they say, life goes on. The Top Billing host has been replaced by Dineo Ranaka, who is no stranger to radio.
The reality TV star and businesswoman made her debut on the station on Tuesday morning. Speaking on the show, she said she didn't know that she'd be joining Metro FM.
She then explained how things unfolded.
"It was a conversation with Metro FM in the afternoon yesterday, and a conversation with Metro FM in the evening yesterday, and then a conversation with you [Lerato] in the evening, followed by a conversation with God later on in the evening, and now conversations with the rest of the country."
Dineo said she's excited to be part of the Metro FM family. "I think it's a blessing and a half, I think God orchestrates things in mysterious ways and I never though I'd be back on radio, I didn't like radio and I've said in many interviews that radio loves me more than I love it. But this has humbly taught me to shut up and let God do His work in your life."
Welcome back, Dineo!
